In addition to winning the tender for NHS Education for Scotland, develop uk have also won the HR development contract for London Borough of Ealing. We have also recently launched a number of workshops for Lloyds TSB which include Fast Track Partnering, Strategic Tools for HR Business Partners and Engaging Line Managers. It is expected that these will run two to three times per year. We run similar regular programmes for the National School of Government, the CIPD and the MOD over the year.

We are planning to launch our new HR Academy at our next networking events in the autumn. Our new workshops include ‘Developing as an HR Director’; ‘Coaching Skills for HR Business Partners’; ‘Managing Change’ and ’Advanced Facilitation’. Our free networking events will run in London and at the Scottish Parliament in Edinburgh (6th November). If you would like to attend our networking, then please contact Karen.morrison@develop.uk.com. Other new HR clients this month, include Lloyds Register, Lloyds Pharmacy and Medway NHS Trust.

develop uk would also like to welcome Gwynneth Rees-Kenny, Gill Gray and Helen Kerr as permanent employees to develop uk.

As part of our work professional servies, we are due to launch our Finance Business Partnering, open workshops. These follow on from all of the inhouse work we have been doing for clients. Recent Finance Business Partner clients include the Post Office, Surrey Police and London Borough of Lewisham. Our new website detailing all that is available in this area will be launched by the end of July. We have also recently completed some research into Finance Business Partnering and we are in the process of writing an article to be published by the end of the year.
